This book truly has it all—friends to lovers, forced proximity, spicy forbidden romance, and plenty of angst that kept me hooked from start to finish! Tobias begins as the typical cocky, self-centered jock we love to hate, but he transforms into a character with much more depth than you’d expect. Swoon-worthy book boyfriend material, for sure. Meyer is the sweet, hardworking heroine juggling everything to support her adorable baby girl. Their journey from friends to something deeper is filled with tension, emotion, and undeniable chemistry. The banter between them is on point! A few unexpected plot twists and turns caught me off guard and elevated the story to a whole new level. The pacing is perfectly executed—a slow burn that builds with tension, and when it all finally comes together? Pure perfection. The beautifully written emotions felt authentic, making me root for these two even more. If you love baseball romance full of heart, tension, and unforgettable chemistry (with major twists and plenty of angst), 𝘿𝙞𝙧𝙩𝙮 𝘾𝙪𝙧𝙫𝙚 is a must-read!
