𝙼𝚢 𝚃𝚑𝚘𝚞𝚐𝚑𝚝𝚜:
𝑳𝒊𝒕𝒕𝒍𝒆 𝑾𝒐𝒎𝒆𝒏 by Louisa May Alcott has forever been one of my favorite novels. I knew I had to read this book when I saw that 𝐀𝐧𝐧𝐢𝐞 𝐒𝐞𝐫𝐞𝐧𝐨 had written a modern take on the classic tale. 𝑳𝒆𝒂𝒗𝒆 𝑰𝒕 𝒕𝒐 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝑴𝒂𝒓𝒄𝒉 𝑺𝒊𝒔𝒕𝒆𝒓𝒔 was such a lovely book. The witty dialog and slow-burn romance between Amy and Theo were perfect for my taste. I enjoyed the close proximity friends-to-lovers trope combination. Add in the menagerie of rescue cats and dogs, and you won my heart! I adored this story of friendship, forgiveness, and falling in love. The small-town college backdrop was perfection. The twisted pasts of the main characters added depth to their stories. The character growth and personal realization were well-done and felt genuine. The anticipation and hopefulness in this kept me reading late into the night. I couldn’t wait to see how the story ended. I will be grabbing Athena and Thornes’s story, 𝘽𝙡𝙖𝙢𝙚 𝙄𝙩 𝙤𝙣 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝘽𝙧𝙤𝙣𝙩𝙚𝙨, for sure! Be on the lookout on May 30, 2023, for the release of this delightful book!
Thank you, Forever and @NetGalley, for the opportunity to read an advanced reader copy of this book.

When it comes to disastrous relationships, English professor Amy Marsden has pretty much seen everything. From Banana Brad (who had a thing for fruit costumes) to her latest disappointment, Derek (undiscovered artist with a penchant for tighty-whities and their perky pizza delivery driver), it’s been an endless adventure of oddballs, jerks, and some terrible lapses in judgment. Which is exactly how Amy has ended up living in a house with the guy she’s been half in love with since she was a kid….
Theo Sinclair has been her sister Jo’s best friend—and a commitment phobe—for as long as Amy can remember. And aside from one hot and heavy make-out session, she’s managed to ignore her feelings for Theo and successfully avoid adding another entry in her What-was-I-thinking list. Yet now that they’re living under the same roof, Amy and Theo are sharing everything from Cheetos and smoothies to their family drama, past trauma, and an attraction that Amy begins to think might not be one-sided. Could Theo really have feelings for her—or is Amy just setting herself up for another disaster?
