Olivia Marshall is a hot mess. She got fired, dumped, and torched her apartment all in one day. Now she is homeless and needs a place to stay. She winds up crashing at her brother’s apartment. Enter the roommate, Colin Beck. Her brother’s extremely hot, sexy, and successful best friend. The guy who also happens to be her high school enemy. Colin made Liv’s teenage years hell. He constantly mocked her and made her feel like an idiot. He still does. Olivia knows her life is a trainwreck and that she needs to pull herself together. She needs a good writing job and her own apartment. A text from a random number asking what she’s wearing ends sets off a series of hysterical events. This random text gives her the friend, albeit anonymous, that she really needs. She and Mr. Wrong number end up hitting it off. There is definitely some chemistry between them, and they begin to text regularly. What will happen when Mr. Wrong Number and Miss Misdial find out the truth of their situation? What ensues is a delightful, laugh-out-loud funny story.
This book had all the fun stuff that my romance-loving heart needed. I listened to this audiobook while on a long road trip, and it had me laughing out loud. I adored the snarky banter between Colin and Olivia; it had me in stitches. Their interaction definitely made this a fantastic book to listen to. The story was very entertaining and held my interest from start to finish. There were ad few times I found myself shaking my head. I mean, can a girl really be that much of a disaster? All in all, this is a true romantic comedy and is definitely worth the read or listen!

Things get textual when a steamy message from a random wrong number turns into an anonymous relationship in this hilarious rom-com by Lynn Painter.
Bad luck has always followed Olivia Marshall…or maybe she’s just the screw-up her family thinks she is. But when a “What are you wearing?” text from a random wrong number turns into the hottest, most entertaining—albeit anonymous—relationship of her life, she thinks things might be on the upswing….
Colin Beck has always considered Olivia his best friend’s annoying little sister, but when she moves in with them after one of her worst runs of luck, he realizes she’s turned into an altogether different and sexier distraction. He’s sure he can keep his distance, until the moment he discovers she’s the irresistible Miss Misdial he’s been sort of sexting for weeks—and now he has to decide whether to turn the heat up or ghost her before things get messy.
